A trip down to Philly

This past Saturday we met Kellen's parents in Philly. His dad had a 30 hour layover so we were able to spend time with them. It is always good to see family being so far from home. We spent the day sightseeing and had a good time. The only bad thing is that I got food poisoning from dinner. Here are some of the fun things that we saw. The room where the Declaration of Independence was signed
The Liberty Bell

The Pennsylvania State House a.k.a. Independence Hall

Outside Christ's Church

Some of the other really neat things that we saw were Benjamin Franklin's grave, the home of Betsy Ross, The Second National Bank, The United States Mint, Elfreth's Alley (one of the oldest continuously inhabited residential streets in America) and Reading Terminal. We also enjoyed an authentic Philly Cheese steak. All in all it was great trip. Thanks to Ken and Mary for coming out and spending the day with us.

Wow, maybe you guys really did move to Pennsylvania. All this time I thought you two were just wanting some "alone time" and were going to drop this "You can't come over, we're in PA" bit once you finished with the whole Honeymoon phase.
