New England

Kellen left for Italy the end of April, so my mom came to stay and play with me. We decided to take a road trip and see the lighthouses of New England. We went to Portland, Maine and had fresh lobster. That is an experience everyone should have at least once in their life. Beware of the tomalley. We spent a few days in Boston. We walked the Freedom Trail and drove down to Plymouth and Cape Cod. The Plymouth Rock was much smaller than expected by the way. All those books in elementary school had it way wrong. On our way home we stopped in Newport, Rhode Island and looked at all the huge mansions. All in all it was a great trip, with lots of amazing memories. Thanks Mom!
